January 5 2013 - Rotary Skates For the World at The Richmond Olympic Oval

Rotary Clubs are invited to join Magdalen and the Rotary Club of Richmond Sunset on January 5, 2013 to skate at the Richmond Olympic Oval.  Individuals and clubs are encouraged to raise pledges to be used by their Rotary Club for donations to The Rotary Foundation.

Come out and join in the fun by either skating or volunteering at the event.  You can gather sponsors for yourself or sponsor someone else. Pledge Form

If you don't have skates don't worry, skates and helmets will be available to rent.  If you do not want to skate then come out and volunteer at the event. Everyone participating is invited to attend the reception after the skating.  If you are planning on attending either as a skater or volunteer please contact Magdalen Leung. This event is organized by the Rotary Club of Richmond Sunset to raise funds for the orphanage in Refilwe, South Africa and for The Rotary Foundation. It is a great opportunity for Rotarians and Rotary Clubs to have some fun and raise money.

Registration open: 1:30pm – 2:30pm, 5 Jan 2013

Skating starts: 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm (Time to be assigned according to level)

Reception/Lucky Draw: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Registration Fee: $5.00 for individual / $15.00 for a team of four

Please make cheque for Registration Fee payable to Rotary Club of Richmond Sunset

Skaters with Pledges over $500.00 will automatically be entered into a lucky draw with the following prizes:

Grand prize: An Apple iPad 2

Second prize: Three-month Richmond Olympic Oval Family Membership

Third prize: $100.00 dinner coupon at Richmond Sushi

Fourth prize: $50.00 dinner coupon at Richmond Sushi

Fifth prize: $50.00 dinner coupon at Richmond Sushi

Sixth prize: A Gift Basket
