As part of the Future Vision pilot, participating districts will be asked to restructure their district Rotary Foundation committee (DRFC). This committee, which serves as the liaison between The Rotary Foundation and Rotarians, assists in educating, motivating, and inspiring Rotarians to participate in Foundation activities in the district.

Subcommittees

The committee will consist of the DRFC chair (PDF) and the chairs for the three subcommittes:

The Foundation simplified the subcommittees to reflect district activities needed for the Future Vision Plan.

The new structure gives districts more flexibility to add other subcommittees as necessary, rather than requiring a separate subcommittee for each area. For previous projects that will continue into the pilot, districts may appoint separate subcommittees to ensure that scholarships, Group Study Exchange teams, and humanitarian grants are completed and closed. Other district committees  have been given Foundation responsibilities according to their expertise, such as the finance and membership development committees.
