Kevin joined the Rotary Club of Chilliwack-Mt. Cheam (District 5050) in 1991, and served in several roles including Club Treasurer for four years and Club President in 1998/99. In 2001 Kevin joined the Rotary Club of West Vancouver (District 5040) where he served as Club Secretary in 2002/03 and Club President in 2003/04. He chaired the successful District 5040 Polio Eradication Fundraising Campaign from 2001 to 2004, served the District as an Assistant Governor and chaired the District 5040 "On to Chicago" initiative.

Kevin and his wife, Jennifer are Paul Harris Fellows, Rotary Foundation Benefactors, and major donors, and have participated in Rotary District Conferences and International Conventions in many parts of the world. They developed and managed a coffee, tea, and Macadamia nut plantation in Zimbabwe prior to migrating to Canada with their four children in 1982 to escape the political and security turmoil in their native country.

Kevin is a Chartered Accountant, has a degree in business administration, and recently qualified as an executive coach. He currently provides coaching and support to young entrepreneurs and family-owned businesses, derives his livelihood from trading, is deeply concerned about the plight of the less fortunate, and has served as a volunteer director for a long-term care hospital. He enjoys the mountains in his beloved British Columbia, skiing in winter and hiking in summer.

Jen raised their four children, has worked as a legal secretary, and is an accomplished artist, poet, and writer. Currently she serves as a palliative care volunteer in a long term care facility in West Vancouver.

Jen and Kevin volunteer in several capacities in their community and church, are avid gardeners, and enjoy their grandchildren.
