The celebration of 100 Years of Rotary in BC is about to get underway - a week of fabulous activities for everyone. Watch for and participate in our many activities for a week you will never forget:
  • Monday, April 15 - tune in to CKNW AM 980 in Vancouver at 11:40AM for an interview with Rotarian Don Evans on the Bill Good Show

  • Tuesday, April 16 - Rotary International President Sakuji Tanaka will be in Vancouver, visits Hugh Boyd Secondary Interact Club for their award winning video, then speaks to the Vancouver Board of Trade at lunch time at the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel. Crowd size looks like it will be 250, you can still get tickets at www.boardoftrade.com

  • Wednesday, April 17 - watch for a full four page supplement on 100 years of Rotary in BC and the centennial of the Rotary Club of Vancouver in the Vancouver Sun newspaper

  • Friday, April 19 - get on down to the Jack Poole Plaza at the Vancouver Convention Centre for a fabulous evening of celebration and entertainment. Bring friends and family, free admission for all, plaza opens at 5PM, cauldron lighting at 6:10PM

  • Saturday, April 20 - Rotary Showcase in the Vancouver Convention Centre, 12:00PM to 4:00PM, free admission

  • Saturday, April 20 - Centennial Gala at the Vancouver Convention Centre, 6:00PM to midnight - special guests Stephen Lewis (keynote address) and the Honourable Steven Point. Tickets still available, 400 guests expected.
