Organizers are you interested in making your booth look really professional?

Members of the Rotary Club of Kitimat wanted to go to that next level too and were looking to showcase Rotary with pizzazz.. Based on a suggestion from Tom Smith, District Membership Chair, members of the Rotary Club of Kitimat borrowed a new display.

Even better, through a generous donation from Brandstra Transportation Systems the display may be used by any club in our District!

As shown in the picture  members even tested a similar display at the Kitimat Community Registration day for activities, sports, cultural, service.  Four club members manned the Rotary display for a the 4 hours of operation.

Eleanor Kendell, Public Relations chair for the club, says "the activity left those involved touched by the energy in the room and --some names on the sign up sheets – Are you interested in learning more about Rotary?"  The event was successful since many boxes were ticked off ‘yes’.

A ‘twin’ unit is owned by the Terrace Rotary Clubs.  It was the one used in the photo above.   The club’s thanks Brian Downie, Area District Governor, for arranging the use of the Terrace booth.

If you are interested in using the booth please contact Tom Smith, District Membership Chair..
