ROTARY PEACE FORUM REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN

The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace is one of the cornerstones of Rotary. With Rotary’s active presence in more than 200 countries and geographical areas, our organization has established itself as a world leader in fostering Peace Through Service. We have accomplished a great deal in this area throughout our history, but we must continue to look forward and recognize that the future of Rotary — and the future prospects for world peace — rest with today’s youth. To ensure a lasting legacy in this arena, we must engage young people in a meaningful way and empower them to carry Rotary’s peace-building efforts into the future.

On February 23 2013, Rotary International Districts 5040 and 5050 will hold a joint Rotary Peace Forum in Metro Vancouver. The forum’s goal is to engage and inspire Rotarians and community leaders to become involved in Peace Through Service.

The program will focus on issues of urban peace and international service projects related to peace. It will also be a celebration of Rotary Peace Centers.

Please watch this website for regular updates on the program, keynote speakers and unique ways Rotarians and non Rotarians will be able to participate.

Registration IS $125.00 and includes: Lunch, breaks and peace celebration banquet. (Additional banquet tickets are available for $75.00 per person.)

The venue for the Rotary Peace Forum is the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel, 7551 Westminster Hwy, Richmond BC
