The District 5040 RYLA camp danced up a storm in downtown Vancouver

A RYLA flash mob broke out in downtown Vancouver BC today at noon.

The 100 youth delegates to the District 5040 RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award) camp on their way into the city for service projects stopped on the steps of the Vancouver Art Gallery. They danced up a storm to the surprise and delight of office workers heading for their favourite food cart for lunch.

The students then moved to Downtown Eastside - women's shelter and the Salvation Army to learn first hand the meaning of Service Above Self.
