Do you know a young person between the ages of 15-19 who would like to visit another part of the world this summer and immerse themselves in the culture? Then perhaps the Rotary STEP (Short Term Exchange Program) is for them.

STEP is a family to family exchange for Rotarian families and families recommended by Rotary clubs. Students from here typically stay with their host family for 3-5 weeks and then the two students will travel back together and spend 3-5 weeks together here.

There is no cost to the Rotary club!

Local Rotary clubs interview interested students and their parents, review the home environment as suitable to host an inbound student, and ensure that criminal record checks are completed for anyone in the home over the age of 18. Completed application forms are forwarded to STEP Co-Chair Denise Rittberg by the January 31st deadline. Further information, brochures, and application forms can be found on the newly revised District Youth Exchange website at www.d5040youthexchange.ca under Students, then click on Short Term Exchanges.
