Do you know a young person between the ages of 15 & 19 who would make a great Ambassador for Rotary and would love to spend the summer overseas? It’s not too late to apply and remember – there is NO COST to the club!!

The family pays an administration fee of $125 plus the cost of airfare and spending money. The club provides a banner and hosts the students at a meeting. They also provide an opportunity of a lifetime for two students to meet new friends and form international friendships.

Requests have been coming in from the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and even from Finland and India!

As DG Garry pointed out in his recent newsletter, our yearlong youth exchange students are already feeling the impact of their exchange year in so many ways and they know that through international understanding they are breaking down barriers. The deadline to Liz Scott, STEP Chair at District is February 28th. For further information please contact Liz at liz_scott@shaw.ca or check out our District youth exchange website at www.d5040youthexchange.ca.
